Program description
Build a lift maintenance team you can count on by advancing your best lift operators into more technical roles with Oregon State University’s Ski Lift Maintenance Technician Level 1 training.
Aligned with NSAA's resource guide, this online hybrid training sets your team up for success by ensuring employee engagement with best-in-class coursework.
Key takeaways from Ski Lift Maintenance
This training is designed for those with at least one season of experience as lift operators, or in related roles, who are looking to progress from customer service and day-to-day operations to a more technical role in lift maintenance.
Through a series of online learning modules, your employees will learn to:
- Perform daily maintenance checks safely, efficiently and accurately
- Identify lift components and machinery and describe their functions within the system
- Apply safety standards and best practices regarding lift operations
Upon course completion, learners receive a digital badge that is specific to them. It can be displayed on social media such as LinkedIn, or added to a résumé.
